Vivera™ Retainers
We provide Vivera™ retainers for the majority of our patients upon completion of their Invisalign® treatment or braces. These transparent trays are custom-molded to fit your teeth precisely, offering a discreet and comfortable way to prevent tooth movement. To ensure the longevity of the appliance, we recommend brushing your Vivera™ retainers each time they are removed or replaced.
Bonded Retainers
A bonded retainer, or fixed retainer, is a stable option often recommended for patients with a higher risk of tooth regression. This method involves a single, professional-grade wire cemented to the back of the teeth, typically the lower front arch.
While these appliances remain in place permanently for continuous security, they require a floss threader to maintain proper oral hygiene. If a bonded retainer becomes loose, contact our office to schedule a prompt repair.
Note on Stability: Bonded retainers typically secure the front four to six teeth. Therefore, we often provide a clear Vivera™ retainer to be worn in conjunction with a bonded wire to ensure the stability of the entire arch. Our specialists will advise if you are an appropriate candidate for this method.

I was in a pinch after my permanent retainer broke and I found out my previous orthodontic clinic had closed up, I was able to schedule an appointment online and get in super quickly for a consultation! Dr. Nesbit and the entire staff were amazing and helped me get taken care of that same day! I will definitely be going back for any future needs and bringing my kids in when it is time for them to get braces!
